For businesses
The bookkeeping course is ready-made. For businesses, training is fully customised: it can cover any process, not just finance. If the process isn’t settled yet, I’ll help you define the workflow first and show you best-practice examples.
We map how the work is done now, who does what and where it goes wrong, then agree a best-practice way of doing it.
Step-by-step procedures, checklists, best-practice examples and an interactive training module built on your own systems and rules.
New or replacement staff work through it at their own pace, and you can see where they need help.
Pricing depends on the project and how much customisation you need. You’ll receive a quote after an initial meeting. Arrange an initial meeting

About me
I’m a CPA (Australia) and Financial Controller with more than 15 years in finance across manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical and distribution businesses in Australia and New Zealand. I’ve worked with Xero and MYOB as well as larger systems such as SAP and NetSuite.
I build AI-assisted tools that take the routine out of finance work, and that’s how this course was made: practical, checked by a professional, and focused on what small businesses actually need.
It’s practical first. Every lesson ends with you doing the task, not just reading about it. You work through one realistic business across three months, with the credit notes, mistakes and month-end deadlines you’ll meet at work, and you finish by closing a full month in Xero yourself. It’s the hands-on skill you need on the job.
No. The course starts from the very beginning: what assets and liabilities are, and how debits and credits work.
About 60–75 hours in total. At around 6 hours a week, that’s about 10–12 weeks.
No. The practical tasks use Xero’s free demo company. You need a computer and an internet connection.
No. It’s built for a different job: getting you ready to do the work. Instead of studying theory for a certificate, you spend your time doing what a bookkeeper actually does: raising invoices, paying suppliers, reconciling the bank, running payroll and closing a month in Xero, with your work reviewed by a CPA. If you also want a formal qualification, it works well before or alongside a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
Not on its own. Registering as a BAS agent with the Tax Practitioners Board needs an accredited qualification, an approved GST/BAS course and relevant work experience. What this course gives you is the hands-on skill to do that work properly from day one, under supervision, which is how that experience is built.
The course app gives you hints when an answer is wrong and marks short written answers, without simply handing you the answer. It runs on your own Claude account, and I review your progress as well.
